Looking after Billy

Feeding Time - usually around 6pm He only needs to be given wet food once a day. We use an automatic feeder for his day’s supply of dry food, and water. These steps are usually done one after another but can be combined together. 1. Grab a bowl and squeeze 4cm of Hairball paste into it and lay it down for him. He normally eats all of this appetiser! 2. Squeeze out one whole wet pouch of food, sprinkle one scoop of Plaque Off powder, and mash with a plastic fork and lay the bowl down. He doesn’t normally eat all of it in one go, so it can be left for him. We like to rinse the empty food pouch and keep to one side. We will recycle these later. We will provide a sponge for cleaning the previous day’s bowl.

Play Time Billy might not be up for playing with new people right away, but when he does, his favourite games are chasing the small pink mouse toy, and chasing string, especially from his purple tunnel.

Toilet Time Billy normally does his business outside, but sometimes uses his litter tray in the downstairs cloakroom. Please use the scoop and baggies for poos but wees can be left for us when we return. He can regularly be sick, often due to hairballs, so we will leave out some cleaning supplies if you notice any mishaps on the carpet. We will deal with anything left behind
